An optical lens is an optical component made from a medium that is transparent to certain wavelength ranges of interest, for diverging or converging light beams. The common usages of optical lenses include focusing of laser beams in laser processing systems, image forming cameras, etc.
Sapphire lenses of Shalom EO are made from single-crystalline sapphire(Al2O3), this material is
ideal for demanding applications (such as laser systems) and harsh environments because of their extreme surface hardness, high thermal durability, and resistance to common chemical acids and alkalis. The transmission range of Sapphire is exceptionally broad (from 0.15 to 5.5μm), capable of accommodating Infrared applications.
Hangzhou Shalom EO offers Sapphire lenses of various forms including Plano-convex, Plano-concave, Double convex, Meniscus lenses, and Sapphire Ball Lenses/Half Ball Lenses. Both coated and uncoated versions are available.
Features:
- Extreme surface hardness and chemical resistance
